the moon and the sun

Hati Hrodvitnisson, the Moon-Hound, is the mythical wolf destined to hunt down and swallow the moon during Ragnarök, the final battle of viking mythology. He is Fenrir's son. (Fenrir is sometimes referred to as Fenrisulfr or Hrodvitnir, which basically means a big wolf.)

Arvakr and Alsvidr are Sun's horses, pulling her chariot across the sky. Hati's brother Sköll chases them as Hati runs after the Moon.

I just thought my gallery needed a little traditional art for change.
